I read this somewhere else, but can't find the article. Anyway, Senator Thompson has pointed out to the other Republican candidates and specifically Rudy, that he is in fact THE conservative candidate.
Can't disagree with him. At least when you look at the front runners.

These two stories, I believe, work hand in hand. The military understands the consequences of the House of Representatives Armenian Genocide resolution. The Turkish are threatening to not allow the military access to airspace. Now it looks like some of the Democrats are seeing the light.
It would seem that the Dems were just stunting and playing politics with our troops. I truly believe that the Dems had no idea that this would cause such an uproar in Turkey. I believe this because these nut jobs, don't seem to understand basic world history or who our real friends around the world are. They want to support every two-bit dictator and communist that they can find. The more oppressive the better.
If the Dems and liberals in this country think it is so bad that they have to sell out our troops and spit on our friends around the world, why don't they just go live in North Korea or some other backwards hell hole like that.

Danny Edwards BBQ

A couple of co-workers and I went to Danny Edward's BBQ (formerly known as Eat it and Beat it off of Grand downtown KC). It is now located right next to Ponac's on Southwest Blvd. How can I put this, THIS BBQ ROCKS!!!
The three of us had the pulled pork sandwich. I had cole slaw added to my sandwich. In addition to my sandwich I had fries (very similar to Arthur Bryant's). The sauce was a perfect blend of a tomato based sauce and molasses based sauce. It was red like Bryant's with a slight sweetness to it. I know there are a lot of fans of Arthur Bryant's BBQ, but for lunch this place is less packed with a bigger seating arrangement.
The building that it is in, seems to be cursed for restaurants. The last place, I am not even sure was opened ever. As far back as I can remember (no snickering out there!) nothing have ever been there. Ponac's customers used it for parking.
Anyway, I highly recommend this place for a good BBQ experience.

Turkey, our friend no more?

This is freaking insane. These brain dead, crazy, mental cases that are running the congress are trying to push through legislation calling the killing of hundreds of thousands if not a million Armenians by the Turks in the early part of the 20th century, genocide. Well it is.
Unfortunately, this is a very touchy issue. People have been trying to get the US government to denounce Turkey for this for years. Turkey is a great ally. They have been with us through the cold war and were with us through the first gulf war and are with us currently helping with Iraq.
This could easily destroy the relationship we have with Turkey.
The Russians would absolutely love this. The Syrians and Iranian would love this, too. This would hurt us strategically. We would have a problem supplying the troops in Iraq. If conflict between the US and Syria and Iran were to break out, then we would have the same problem as in Iraq with regard to supply lines.
These traitors whom have brought this legislation to bear, need to be strung up. This is siding with the enemies of the United States. This is why we are the laughing stock of the world. We have psychos whom will do anything to undermine the safety and security of the US and we let them do it.

Ann Coulter

I am very disappointed in Ann Coulter. I understand the what she says most of the time is to get attention to her and her books.
It started as all Thursdays do for me, I read Ms. Coulter's column. I really enjoy her column. I look forward to reading the pithy things she has to say about the big story of the week. This week was Michael Huckabee and Fred Thompson.
Huckabee is the former governor of Arkansas. This guy is NOT a conservative. No more to say about him.
Fred Thompson, is as close as a true Reagan style conservative we have out there, who could actually win the White House.
Well, Ms. Coulter let everyone know her thoughts on these 2 gentlemen. I have known about Mr. Huckabee since before he joined the race. Mr. Thompson I have also known about before he joined this race. She didn't sway me away from Mr. Thompson. He has his flaws just like everyone, but I believe most people could live with his.
Now on to be an anti-Semitic remarks she made to some half baked liberal on CNBC. What is her problem? Even if this is stunting to sell a book,this is in poor taste. I cannot believe that she would say this. This is bad news.
Michael Savage had a lot of callers today, whom agreed with Ms. Coulter. This is why we are going to lose the war on terror. This is history repeating itself. The secret Jew haters let the Nazi's do what they wanted because they wanted the same thing. This is what is happening now. These silent Jew haters are the people that are in power and it seems like a good portion of citizenry, that do not support Israel. These people are for giving the Palenstians their own state, just to thumb their noses at the Jewish people. I cannot believe how angry this has made me. The people in our government do whatever they can to undermine Israel. Of course, many of the Jewish people that have the power to stand up and stop this Jew bashing, anti-Semitic, bigotry, have not. They are complicit in this as well.
For those of you who do not know, I am not Jewish. If I was I would probably be even more upset about this than I am now, but I don't know how I could be.
I am not going to read Ms. Coulters column and I will not buy her new book. I am going to get rid of the books I have that she has authored.
