KU vs KSTATE

Calm down people. Kansas will beat K-State tomorrow night in Manhattan. K-State will play much better than they have in the past. Just FYI you freaks in the media. Beasely is not a one man team. He is going to need the help of the rest of the team to even attempt to score like he has this season. Kansas is a well rounded TEAM. No one super star but 10 stars. That is what will make the difference in the game.
K-State will be even better next season, if they can keep Beasley from going pro. He doesn't seem like the college type. I think he is looking for the NBA next year. He is that good. Also, just because the K-State players are talking smack about KU doesn't mean this is going to have any effect on the players. You saw how they played against Missouri. They played consistent basketball that lead to the tiring of the Missouri players and a win for the Jayhawks. This is going to happen with the Wildcats.
K-State fans I think that is a program to keep watching it is only going to get better. They have some well rounded players that will be back next year.
Kansas is going all the way, baby!

Why do the jerks on the East coast get to tell us who to vote for?

Why is it that the people on the East coast get to tell the rest of us who to vote for? Are we all a bunch a cows? "Hey lets follow what they are doing. Why are they disappearing? Oh, who cares they know where they are going."
As good hard working Americans we should not let ourselves be tricked into following the east coast lemmings and media. Has the media ever liked a Republican? Oh yeah, Senator McCain. Where is Senator McCain winning? On the east coast. Same with Romney and Huckabee. These men are not Republicans they are the dreaded RHINO. I know in Kansas we are not that afraid of the RHINO. The media has lulled a lot of Republican Kansans into a politically correct daze. Of course, some of the Republicans in the party have been over zealous with the literal Christian teachings being pushed upon people. By this I mean creationism. explain dinosaurs to me people. That is for another time, though.
I believe that the majority of the Republicans in Kansas think for themselves and are conservative to the core. Conservatism doesn't mean you have to believe in God or go to a church. Belief in God helps, because the cornerstone of conservatism is that our rights are inalienable. In other words given by God. Man is the one who wants to take our rights as humans and citizens of the greatest nation to ever grace this earth. Liberals and RHINOS believe that our rights are given to us by man (government). Question, how did we prosper as a nation without government intervention? Answer, we did prosper because the lack of government intervention.
Look at all the candidates for President that will be looking for you vote on February 9th at the Kansas Republican Caucus. You should pick the guy who most agrees with your ideals. My bet is the only guy any of us can really pick would be Alan Keyes. Check out his website the link is on the right.
If we all pick someone whom the media has forgotten and the national Republican party only uses when they need a conservative voice. This will show the Republicans around the United States and especially on the east coast that we reject their assumptions that the government is giving us our rights.

Senator McCain Wins Florida: Will he ask the courts to make sure?

I am confused. How does a man who has attached his name to bills that limit our freedoms and try to bestow citizenship upon illegal (criminals) aliens that have broken into our country when in a red state? Is the Republican party a watered down version of the Democrat party? Have the Republicans given up their principles? Does anyone care about The United States of America?
Last night the main theme of the Democrats "response" to the State of the Union address was the need for the end to partisanship. Didn't the President touch on this point? WTH? Do the Democrats just continue on with their make believe story line that Republicans are not playing fair? What is interesting is that the Democrats pick the Governor of Kansas to deliver the "response". She is completely worthless as a leader. She doesn't do anything and then responds to things like its new to her and she is going to fix it. Oh, I mean she is going to let the courts fix it. What a joke.
Senator McCain couldn't even take a moment as a Senator in the same political party as the President to go to the last State of the Union speech by the President. He had more important things to do. Campaigning. At least Senator Clinton and Senator Obama has the onions and forsight to go to the State of the Union address. This is a calculated move on their part. I am sure that Senator McCain looks at his decision to be a calculated move. You know to distance himself from the President. It's a little hard to do that when they agree on most things. Of course, Senator McCain like most liberals, needs the courts to tell him if what he has done is correct. McCain-Feingold (limiting free speech among the people) Bill was constructed with the thought in mind that when it got to the Supreme Court that they had made sure that it was limited enough, but none the less restrictive, to pass the liberal courts test.
Will he ask the courts to make sure he won in Florida? Or will he save that for a state that he loses a primary or caucus in?

MIKE HUCKABEE IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE!!!! DON'T BE FOOLED

Maybe the Republican Party is dying

Over the past few years it has been said and seen that the Republicans elected across this nation have not been acting like the Republicans of old. The have not been the conservatives that their constituents voted for. The growth of the government has surpassed anything Clinton did during his 8 years. This is because he had a strong conservative congress that he had to work with. The strange thing is in the past elections the Democrats have run as conservatives. While the Republicans have run as moderates. The Democrats have won those races.
While watching the first primary results for the Republicans, I can't help but see that in the liberalist of states the liberalist of Republicans are winning. Iowa is a blue state. They elect Democrats most of the time. Huckabee, the winner of the Iowa caucus, won because not only is he a preacher he is not very conservative.
New Hampshire of course went to Senator McCain. He is NOT a conservative. Supposedly, he gives you the "Straight Talk" about issues. That is such a joke. You are kidding yourself if you really believe he is "straight talking" and that he wouldn't act like a Democrat when elected. I am willing to bet that Arizona doesn't re-elect him.
So by now, the media has jumped all over Huckabee and McCain. The media are liberal establishments. They had helped the Democratic Party destroy the Republican Party, by making men and women in the Republican Party try and appeal to their wharped world view.
Romney is the conservative's last hope for a guy who could be elected President and have conservative ideals. Of course, just to let you know. I don't beleive for an instant that Romney is conservative. Any Republican that can be elected governor of Massechusettes is no conservative. People keep touting that he is a businessman who would run the government like a business. That is like saying McCain is giving you the "Straight Talk". As much as economic conservatives want someone to come run the governement like a business, it can't happen. You run the government like a business and you would have to close up shop.
There is one conservative left running for President. Alan Keyes. He is a black man. So you'd think that the media would be all over him. Mr. Keyes can't win. That is the "straight talk". He is a conservative through and through. No one pays attention to him as a candidate for President. He is one of the top conservative thinkers in the world. Yet, some of you reading this are thinking to yourselves "who is this man?". He is one of the last consevatives in the Republican party.
Over the past 6-9 months I have noticed people talking about a third party. Some people have wondered if the evangelicals in the Republican Party are going to splinter off into another party to host a candidate that they identify more with their christian values. I don't see this happening. They have too much invested in the party for that. I believe also that they are more liberal than conservative and they have steered the party in the direction that it is heading.
I have also been able to observe baby boomer Republicans first hand. They are not very conservative either. They are why we have diversity training and believe that global warming is going to destroy the planet. They are also the people who are worry what others might say of them. They cannot make a big decision. They are the liberals of the Republican Party. They are Democrats of old. It is a wonder how some of the prominent conservatives of the Republican Party are the people they are (Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage).
I had the thought after spilling my thoughts to some co-workers today about the exit of Fred Thompson from the presidential race and Governor Matt Blunt of Missouri deciding to not run for a second term. On Redstate.com the moderator posted that Thompson will be seen promoting conservative ideals. This is great. Then I heard that Romney may ask Blunt to be his running mate if he gets that far. Could it be to add conservatism to the ticket? I did say Romney would have my vote if Blunt is VP. I hope I don't have to live up to that.
Then it accurred to me that Newt Gingrich has an organization that is out promoting conservative ideals. Could the old guard conservatives be working on the young conservatives to help them form another party? This would make sense. Seeing as the Democrats are socialists and the Republicans are becoming liberals. A party built on conservative principles, like the Republicans party of Lincoln.
As conservatives we need to keep pressuring our elected officials to do the RIGHT thing. By letting conservative principles guide their decisions. Not the media and polls. Polling in the past couple of weeks has shown that the polls mean squat. That the liberal agenda leaning questions don't play out in real life. While some people say yes I will vote for the black guy or the woman or preacher. When they are alone in the voting booth they vote for who they really like.
Conservatism always works. The state of Missouri is a prime example of that. State was economically in the red when Blunt took over the Governor office and with some cuts in spending and cutting taxes. Revenues to the state treasury are up and the governor will leave office with a billon dollar surplus.
While I think the Republican party might be dying, it might just be a butterfly reverting back to the catapillar.

The Media Driven Primaries

This morning the media has announced that McCain and Clinton are back. How is this? Just yesterday morning they were saying Obama had this thing sewed up. Clinton will be exiting the field. They knew all day long that McCain would have the win in New Hampshire.

The media has been touting the death of Clinton's campaign since the Iowa Caucus. They ran polls showing that Obama was the man who was going to take New Hampshire. The media had Clinton staffers sending resumes to other campaigns. The Clinton machine was reported to be sputtering. Since Clinton is a big fan of polls early afternoon is was released that the campaign was getting some new/old blood to help steer it. With her "surprised victory" last night, Clinton sure showed them.

McCain the media's Republican poster boy won. They are beside themselves. He is back!! He didn't even come close in Iowa. Their other media propped up Republican, Huckabee, won that. McCain is spent. He needs to do a Costanza. Go out on a high note.

McCain is done. If you read many of the articles out there, the media and democrats believe that they can beat Huckabee, McCain, and Romney (though not as easy as the first two). They are trying to influence what the electorate thinks. They have been wondering very loudly that if Romney will back out now that he lost New Hampshire. What a joke. He is the lead right now in the delegate hunt. Then Huckabee and McCain. McCain is only in third because he won in New Hampshire. Otherwise, he would be fourth or fifth.

The media is so biased now that they have screwed up their own polls. Were they only asking a certain demographic, was the question skewed toward the answer being Obama? The media's bias is their own worse enemy. Of course, they are using this to help steer the electorate. It didn't work.

I am very curious to see how they are going to do it in South Carolina and in the other states in the south. Those people don't identify themselves as independents. That is who the media thinks they can steer their way.

I also like how they turned on Clinton when it looked like she was going to lose. They will drop you like a hot potato, if you even hint of losing. This is so funny. This is where the Clintons decided to attack the media as being biased against her. That is the funniest thing they have ever said. Now that she has won New Hampshire they are back on board. Obama has been kicked to the curb for a few days, until they can get a poll that says he is leading somewhere.

We have not heard much about Thompson in the past week or so. The media and the Democrats are very scared of him. He is a conservative. He presents conservative ideas and they know that being a conservative is what wins elections. They know that he isn't out there pandering to different groups for their votes. This makes him look very credible.

Unlike Guiliani, whom is looking to Florida on January 29th. He is hoping the retired New Yorkers are going to get their friends to vote for him. This is just stupid. Guiliani is done. Stick a fork him.

Watch how the media will prop people up and then ignore them when it doesn't turn out how they want it.

Below is a link to a website that shows the bias a reporter at NBC has.
